With the Fall 2025 Census now available, our most recent cohort of first-time, full-time students have the highest recorded second fall persistence rate (nearly 88%), reflecting the ongoing efforts across campus to support student success. Associations between Summer Enrollment and Student Success

The purpose of this report is to describes the association between summer session enrollment and student success (measured by persistence, graduation, GPA) among first-time, full-time (FTFT) cohorts at CSU between FA19 and FA24. Overall, summer enrollment benefited students by supporting their persistence and graduation, especially for students that struggle during the first academic year.
