Student credit hours (SCH) are reported to the Colorado Department of Higher Education, serving as the foundation for multiple state funding mechanisms. These SCH are classified into two categories: RI, which is eligible for state funding, and non-RI, which is cash-funded. Additionally, high-level headcounts are accessible via the CSU Student Credit Hour Distribution report (sis022).
Courses
The grade distribution reports provide the grade distribution (Grade Distribution), DFW rates and grade points (Grade Trends) by course for the fall and spring terms. These reports include various filters, allowing users to sort data by instruction type, AUCC description, course college, course department, course, student college, student department, and student major. The Opportunity Gaps reports highlight differences in grade points and DFW rates based on student demographics such as gender, first-generation status, Pell status, racially minoritized status, residency, and rurality.
The course capacity report details enrollment counts, limits, the number of sections offered, and waitlists per course for the fall, spring, and summer semesters. These data are reported as of the census and the first day of classes, as well as year-to-date for upcoming semesters.
